A Positive Influence

The most memorable highlight of FEELDOM's 2026 Expo Tour was not an event.
Our team was overjoyed to host Aspen Sage at our booth at the National Federation of the Blind Convention in Austin, Texas -- coming in all the way from Oklahoma! It was our first time to meet Aspen in person, and it was such an exciting time for all of us. Β

The FEELDOM Booth hosted accessibility advocate Aspen Baxter for a Meet & Greet with convention attendees. It was the 4th of July, and a very croweded event with people from all over the US exploring the newest in assistive technology.Β People stopped over to meet Aspen and to share experiences about navigating disability, accessible places to visit and traveling with a service dog.

Aspen Baxter is one of our absolute favorite social media partners, and here's why!
You may have first seen Aspen on the FEELDOM online store while shopping in our Wheelchair-Fit or Flexible-Fit lines, or you may have discovered her on your Instagram @accessibility_with_Aspen_Sage.Β

As a product tester, she is such an important part of our design process.Β
Aspen always gives insightful and honest feedback whenever we're working on a new adaptive product. She can show us how a product holds up in a real-world environment, and let us know what makes it useful and what may need a bit more tweaking.Β She can creatively demonstrate the various functions, whether on a traveling excursion or simply hanging around the neighborhood!Β Β
Aspen attached her FEELDOM QUIK-E pouch to her wheelchair, making it easy to treat Jojo for all the photos she was posing for.Β Β Jojo's zoom-in expression is priceless.

Aspen is a courageous world-traveller who specializes in accessability in travel.Β
By taking risks and going to new (and exciting -- and sometimes sketchy) places, she can show that it can be done, no matter what the difficulties.Β She records her journeys through videos and photos to sharing reviews of local attractions, delicious food and accessible features (or lack thereof) which she experienced in hotels, restaurants and amusement parks.Β For example, here Aspen is showing how a wheelchair auto-lift in Jamaica allowed her to stay safely seated in her chair during the transfer process.

Β
But the most important reason of all is...
Aspen is a genuine person and a positive force in this world.
Aspen is an authentic disability advocate with relatable experiences.Β Not everyone can travel the world, but just knowing it's possible to navigate through challenges we face and know there's people and places out there that welcome and support people with disabilities can be such an encouragement.Β Sharing real times, real trials, successes and failures makes it easier to realize none of us are alone.

Thank you, Aspen -
for your positive influence in this world!Β You made our NFB Convention so much brighter, and we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
