I wear the pouch via the S hook on my pants belt loop. It makes it very easy for me to fold up my cane so I can go through self check out. I have found it to be a life saver when I am out shopping. No fighting with my canes elastic band. No accidentally punching myself in the face while trying to fit the elastic over the end of my cane to hold it together. Just fold it up and put it in the pouch via the opening at the top that can be unclasped. Best money I have spent on an accessibility item since I bought my No Jab cane!
